With the XBEND double bender, you are choosing a fully automated bending system – available in lengths from 3 to 12 meters and with a bending capacity of up to 2 mm steel.
The XBEND double bender can be tailored to your production processes with a range of automation options. From automatic sheet positioning and feeding to digital work preparation, intelligent systems support a continuous, precise bending process while reducing manual operations.
The automatic gripper system positions and moves the sheet automatically throughout the bending process. Each bending step is approached automatically, ensuring reliable material handling and precise, repeatable processes, even for complex profiles.
The automatic side feed guides the sheet into the XBEND in a controlled manner and supports a continuous material flow between individual processing steps. Especially with long or recurring workpieces, it reduces manual intervention and facilitates a continuous bending process.
Optional loading tables make it easier to feed and handle large sheets on the double bender. They support the material before and during processing and reduce operator effort, particularly with large or heavy workpieces.
The XBEND automatically bends profiles up and down. There is no need to turn or flip the workpiece between individual bending steps. This allows even complex profiles to be produced quickly, precisely, and with significantly less manual intervention.
Profiles and bending sequences can be prepared at the office PC before production begins and then transferred to the XBEND. Recurring profiles can be saved and retrieved whenever needed – for efficient work preparation and repeatable production processes.
Profiles can also be created on a tablet and transferred directly to the machine control. This provides additional flexibility in work preparation and enables a seamless workflow from measurement and preparation to production.
