With the XBEND double folder, you choose a fully automated bending system – available in lengths from 3 to 12 meters and with a bending capacity of up to 2 mm steel.
The XBEND processes profiles in both bending directions thanks to its two independently operating bending beams.
In combination with the optional gripper system and automatic side feed, the workpiece is automatically positioned and guided – eliminating the need to manually turn or flip the sheet. This reduces handling and processing times and ensures a continuous, cost-efficient production process.
Once the desired profile has been selected on the office PC, tablet or machine control, the optional gripper system automatically positions the sheet throughout the entire bending process. This reduces manual intervention, speeds up production and ensures reproducible results even with changing profiles or larger batch sizes.
The computer-controlled back gauge fingers provide additional support for precise workpiece alignment. They automatically move to the required position and ensure that the sheet is accurately positioned for every processing step.
The automatic side feed ensures controlled feeding and precise alignment of the sheet. Manual work steps are reduced and the material flow within the bending process is significantly simplified. This is particularly beneficial for recurring profiles and larger batch sizes, enabling short cycle times and reproducible results.
The optional automatic loading tables significantly simplify the handling of large and long sheets.
When the machine is opened, the lower bending beam moves into a horizontal position. This makes loading long and large sheet blanks considerably easier. It reduces the physical effort required, improves ergonomics and ensures safe and efficient material handling – particularly for long profiles and larger batch sizes. The freely positionable foot switch keeps both hands free while positioning and securing the sheet.
The optional cutting unit enables precise cutting of sheet metal directly during the production process. Blanks can be cut accurately to size and processed immediately without any additional work steps. This saves time, reduces material handling and ensures a continuous material flow from the blank to the finished profile.
The Biegemaster XBEND enables the cost-effective production of complex profiles with consistently high quality. Thanks to precise control and accurate material guidance, it produces clean folds and reproducible bending results – even with complex geometries and large batch sizes. The machine processes profiles from 3 to 12 meters in bending length with material thicknesses of up to 2 mm.

The Biegemaster XBEND is a fully automatic CNC Up and Down folder for efficient and precise bending operations. By bending in both directions, many profiles can be produced without repositioning or re-clamping. The automatic material feed ensures high repeatability and consistent quality. The conical backgauge enables precise bending of profiles with different depths (narrow to wide) as well as conical edges. This allows the sheets to be easily fitted together during on-site installation. An integrated laser line indicates the exact position of the sheet and supports millimeter-precise alignment of the blanks.
The automatic clamping beam adjustment / air gap adjustment automatically compensates for differences in sheet thickness within a coil. This ensures consistent bending accuracy even with thicker sheets and changing materials and material thicknesses.
With Biegemaster software, profiles can be created on a tablet and then transferred directly to the machine. This simplifies work preparation and enables flexible working – directly on the job site or on the go.
Polyethylene support surfaces protect sensitive, painted or coated sheets from scratches and damage. This allows even delicate materials to be processed safely and gently.
For long and large-format blanks, Biegemaster machines can be equipped with an extended insertion depth of up to 1.250 mm. This makes it easier to process large sheets and blanks.
